Well here in Russia I just had state of the art surgery in a private swiss leading hospital for about 1/10th the cost in the USA
They can learn that with less government “fixing” quality medical care can be provided at reasonable cost
But I’ve also had occasion to go to a Russian government run hospital and couldn’t help but tell my friend ..This place really smells like sh!t. …Her response? It’s a HOSPITAL…don’t tell me your hospitals don’t smell like this

I don’t feel like that’s an appropriate question because our culture and administration is conducted differently than that of other countries. Sometimes I wonder how a country ever gets a healthcare plan in the first place because it doesn’t seem much like our leadership can ever come together on anything that actually works out well for the people. Remember the bailouts?? It seemed like everyone was set to get them finished.

for us, it is about cost. our population compared to other countries. while denmark can do for it 3-4 million people as they pay 70-75% in taxes, that is not how america works we have more than 300 million. i have still yet to understand why health insurance companies cannot sell across state lines but car and others can.

The only thing they may be better out is preventative care but overall we have the best system in the world which is why so many people from other countries come here for medical treatment
